It is July 31st and I am going on a trip again. This time, the first week, I’m going together with an English and two Swiss friends, to Boscastle in Cornwall, followed by three days in Perranporth and finally six days in Devizes.

When we arrived in Boscastle, one of my friends came down with a heavy flu.

Therefore we stayed the second day in her neighborhood and decided to explore Boscastle. We went into all the shops and we visited the shop called 'Another World'.

I looked at the many books that were displayed and asked the man if he had any books about the indigenous people of Cornwall. This man turned out to be the writer Paul Broadhurst. Paul was immediately enthusiastic and picked up his book ‘The Secret Land’, in which he wrote particularly about the history of the Celtic people, the legend of King Arthur and the 'Big Bear' to be found on the fields around Boscastle. The same constellation as the stars of the “Big Bear" in our galaxy. As above, so below.

He did not stop talking; and when I told him about my stay in Devizes to see if there are any crop circles Paul gave me his book ‘The Sun and the Serpent’, in which the St. Michael and St. Mary ley-lines are explained, as a gift. So not only was I informed but also my friends, who do not have much interest in spirituality. I trusted the Cosmos that I would get to where I needed to be without insisting on my friends.

It was evident that we were going to go to Bodmin Moor to visit the Stone Circles such as The Hurlers and The Cheesewring. In this last one, the energy was still very powerful.

Because of Paul we knew that around the Castle of King Arthur there was an imprint of his footstep. No publicity is given on this subject because, as Paul says ,: "They do not want to know." After I was desperate to find the imprint and asked the cosmos, to help me, my English friend suddenly exclaimed: “Here it is! " I walked up to it and, Yes, there it was. It seems to be that when you stand in the print and hold your finger beside your nose, this can be seen miles away.

After this lovely week with my friends in beautiful Boscastle I traveled to Perranporth. Because I had lost my iPhone on the bus, I met, on the train to Truro, a nice woman who offered me a lift to Perranporth. She also stopped at the Central Bus Station so I could give them my address in case anybody found it. (By the way I got my IPhone back).

And again, after I met the Writer Paul Broadhurst I had a nice spiritual conversation with this nice woman. She herself was living in St. Agnes. I wondered what I was actually doing in Perranporth; it is a very touristic spot because of its beautiful beach and great surfing possibilities. However in this place I experienced the most emotional moment of the holiday.

The owner of the house where I was staying appeared also to be very spiritual. Cornwall was totally in the hands of spiritual places and people.

My landlady suddenly said in our conversation, 'You want to go back to the Source.” Unexpectedly I became very emotional. I could not stop it. Is this what I always feel, a boundless longing for the Source? I needed a long walk and took the track to St. Agnes along the beautiful sea and cliffs.

After Perranporth I had booked an AirBnB at Devizes. The description said "Close to Avebury and the Crop Circles with a private meditation room. The first part of the description was right, but the second part turned out to be for rental. A very well situated place, only the owner had just heard that he has cancer. Perhaps that is why the place was not very hygienic. My first reaction was to get out of here, but I acted differently. I asked him to go for a beer. He gave me a little tour and when I treated him to a beer I listened to his story. I could not do much more at the moment, since it is his destiny.

Well, on the way there were only two crop circles still there to visit.

And how is it possible that one of the circles showed me my power animal 'The Eagle'? Of course I went to visit this one. When I arrived I was asked to make a donation for cancer treatments at the entrance. The wife of the farmer just died from cancer. What does it mean that this suddenly came my way?

In the Crop Circle I met a Belgian group. I explained what I had experienced in the last 24 hours. One asked. Are you a healer? I said: “Initially I am a sower, but I know that I have healing hands only I hardly dare to use them. “Well”, she said, these are signals to use them”. "It is not for nothing that you meet ill people on your path." (I did not mention before but during my travelling I meet a lot of very sick people). I felt the restlessness growing inside me, because I had heard this before.

After visiting the Crop Circles exhibition in Marlborough, I got lost on the way back to Devizes and suddenly drove past Stonehenge. This, however, was quite far from the route. Apparently I had to be there for some reason.

Once more I wanted to visit Glastonbury. I was there a few years ago with my father but at that time I had not noticed the Labyrinth at St. John's Church: the same sign I saw on our journey from Boscastle to Tintagel. The writer Paul came back into my mind and this is what I found on the Internet:

“The origin and purpose of the labyrinth remains surrounded by mystery, but it is clearly a symbol of spirituality. It was found mainly on important religious sites.

Following the path of the labyrinth symbolized the Hindi steps of Shiva Nataraja, the god of dance and transformation.

For the Hopi Indians it was a symbol of Mother Earth. Walking the path was equal to the cycle of nature. Because of this they connected again to her, thanked and honored her.

In the Middle Ages new designs were launched and adorned many church floors. These labyrinths are different from the older ones in the sense that the path is divided into four corners. Herein is to recognize the cross. These labyrinths were used by the monks on pilgrimages which were often made on their knees in the hope of getting closer to the divine.

It is likely that the function of the labyrinth can be sought in meditation and the search for answers. With the renewed interest in spirituality the labyrinth is back into use for these purposes.

You can physically experience the labyrinth by either visiting or creating your own one. A third option is, you can draw one on paper and follow the path with your finger.”

On my last night I met a soul mate. What a gift to spend the last night so familiar, as he said “A meeting of Two spirits that know each other."

Nothing crazy was more to come on my path except that on Sunday, the day of my departure back to the Netherlands, there were no buses driving in Devizes and there were train interruptions due to work.
