What is it the Grandmothers ask from us?

While I am writing this I can feel the summer reigning once more.

Even if the fruits are ripening more and more each day. We slowly start harvesting all that has ripened this season. We have sowed and we took care of the seeds as good as we possibly could. We have seen them grow and grow.

Now we may look at the results of our actions and start processing them.

For us, being the organizers of the gathering of the Indigenous Grandmothers, the highlight of this summer was the presence of the 4 Indigenous Grandmothers of the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers. It has been a very inspiring time together with the Grandmothers in Brabant.

The theme ‘All is One ‘has lead us through the days of the gathering.

More and more we realize what it really means. In our private lives and in our togetherness with All that surrounds us. This is the challenge for all of us to walk with an open heart through our lives and to experience that we all are moved by the same source, Life itself. And we can only expect to experience a sustainable Peace if we are able to open up to the World and when we have been able to free ourselves from all that is blocking us in order to experience Life in all its Beauty. It is a very special Time we live in today. Many of us realize that it is imperative that we change course in our lives.

Going from the more individualistic masculine approach to more togetherness, the more feminine way. In order to allow more balance in the world of today. We all also experience that it is not always easy to live up to this insight. We really need to feel that we will go for it, no matter what, to make it possible.

The Indigenous Grandmothers are asking us to go for it together. They invite us to form a Group of Dutch Grandmothers. So we can express ourselves what moves us the most and maybe communicate this to the society. In this way we will grow together in what we feel is ‘Holy’ in Life.

And can we explore our own rituals and ceremonies while we connect ourselves with our ancestors and seek our own roots.

This is what the Grandmothers tell us: ‘Seek the connection with your own ancestors and feel who you really are. Do not copy the ways of the Indigenous Peoples but let them inspire you to look for your own ways to celebrate Life.’ They also let us know that it is of the greatest urgency to change our old ways and seek for new ones. This they know through Prophecy’s that came to them on different times and places.

They were told to share their most Holy ways, with other peoples. Even with those who were their suppressors in ancient times, because survival of Humankind and even the whole planet is at stake. That is why we decided to call upon all of you women who can feel this call inside, to get in touch with us. And take part in the process of forming a Dutch Grandmother group.

Please let us know if you want to get an invitation for the first exploratory gathering. And please look around if there is another woman who has heard the call and is willing to respond.

Nothing is fixed yet on form or number of the Group. All will spring from our being together.

We wish you a beautiful harvest.
